Itinerary
From Delhi, board the flight for Bagdogra. On reaching Bagdogra, our representative will welcome you and drive you to Gangtok (around 4 hrs). Reach and check in to your hotel. Freshen up and take a little rest. You can enjoy the rest of the day taking walks around the hotel, visiting nearby areas, talking to locals, enjoying local food, etc. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Early morning visit Tashi Viewpoint to get the mesmerizing view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. This place is beautified with a park on its top. This day is for the trek to the historical point, Yuksom. Yuksom was the first capital of Sikkim. This trek is of 6 hours. In this trek, you will explore the oldest existing monastery that was built in 1700 A.D., Dubdi Monastery. After exploring the area, reach your hotel, check-in and take a little rest. You can make use of the remaining time by walking down the lanes, talking to the locals, enjoying street food, etc. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Have your breakfast at the hotel and then start your trek to Bakhim (3,035 m). This would be 4 hours trek including gradual ascent and descent through the lush green semi-tropical forest. After exploring the serenity of the area, reach your hotel at Bakhim. Check in and take a little rest. You can use the remaining day for an excursion to nearby streets. After breakfast, start your day with a trek to Dzongri at the height of 4030 meters. This trek of 4 hours will make you explore the charm of nature. This is a very energetic trek as the initial climbing is steep, and you will climb from 3035 meters to 4030 meters.
