Itinerary

Once you arrive in Delhi, an IHPL representative helps you with an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Spend the day at leisure- visit the local attractions, explore the popular markets, gorge on street food etc. Stay Overnight.

Day 2 :
Delhi

After breakfast, proceed to Delhi Golf Club. Re-designed by Peter Thompson in the year 1977 – 78, this 18- hole golf course is 6972 yards and PAR 72. In 1982, some changes were again made when the golf course was playing host to the first ever golf tournament. India’s busiest course receives a footfall of around 500 golfers every day. For beginners, there is a Nine Hole B Course. The first main course is 522 yards, PAR 5 with thorny bushes on its left. Back to the hotel in the evening. Evening at leisure. Stay overnight.

Day 3 :
Delhi

On day 3 of the tour, post breakfast, begin with a city tour covering the main tourist attractions of Old and New Delhi. The list of attractions includes Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar complex. Stay Overnight.

Today, after breakfast, hit the road to Chandigarh. On arrival, complete the check- in formalities at your hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a half-day city tour including prime attractions like Sukhna lake, Rose Garden, Rock Garden etc. Stay overnight.

Day 5 :
Chandigarh

Have breakfast on day 5 and move to the Chandigarh Golf Club, whose idea was thought of in the early 1950’s. The work for it began only in 1960’s with 10 golfers becoming its initial members. In the beginning, it was 9 -Hole golf course that was later made a 12 hole one in 1966 when a major portion of land was gifted by the then Governor of the city. But in September 1983, it was turned into a normal 18 -Hole PAR 72 golf course in 132 acres of land. Back to the hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Once you have breakfast, get transported to Shimla, by road. The afternoon is scheduled is for sightseeing that may include Jhakhu Temple, The Mall, The Ridge etc. you can also indulge in adventure activities like trekking, horse riding etc. Stay overnight.

Day 7 :
Shimla

The former summer capital of the British, Shimla- the Queen of Hills, has one of the country’s best golf courses. One of the world’s oldest golf courses is situated in Naldehra around 23 kms from Shimla. The golf club has 9 -hole championship courses with PAR 68 and 3791 Yards. It is well-known as one of the most challenging ones in the country. Return to the hotel for relaxing, dinner and staying overnight.

Today, on day 8, have breakfast and proceed to Kalka railway station to board a train to Delhi. On arrival, get transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities- interacting with the locals, visiting the popular markets to shop for souvenirs or simply relaxing in the comfort of your room etc. Overnight in Delhi.

On the 9th day of the tour, get transferred to the airport to board a flight for Kolkata. After reaching, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. In the afternoon, take a city tour that may include Howrah Bridge, Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium. Stay overnight.

Day 10 :
Kolkata

Post breakfast; get transferred to the Royal Kolkata Golf Course. Founded in 1829, it is the oldest golf club in the country and the first one outside Britain. Fondly known as the Royal's, it features strategically located water tanks, two being the most important across the 10th Fairway, with 457 yards PAR 4 hole. The club also has a Bowling Green section, established in the first half of the 18th century. Return to the hotel to relax, have dinner and an overnight stay.

In the morning, move to the airport to catch a flight to Chennai. On arrival, get transferred to your hotel. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing that may include Fort St George, Marina Beach, Parthasarathy Temple tec. Night stay in the hotel.

Day 12 :
Chennai

Have breakfast, get transferred to Madras Gymkhana Club Golf Course, established in 1887. Located within a horse race track at Guindy, this golf course is a links style 18- hole, 6690 yards, and PAR 72 club. The fairways are flat, fast and rounded by the out of bound racetrack. The first hole is PAR 04 at 415 yards. The second hole is PAR 03 at 170 yards, with a green slope of around 30 degrees. Originally staring with 9 holes, it became 14 holes, then 16 and finally 18 holes. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 13 :
Chennai

Day 13 of the tour is free for leisure activities. A day- tour to Mahabalipuram can also be arranged or even re-visit to the golf club is also possible. Stay overnight.

From the hotel, get transported to the airport to board a flight to Coimbatore. On reaching, hit the road to Ooty, fondly known as Queen of Hill Stations, a well-known hill town in south region of India. Once you reach, complete the check- in formalities of your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities such as visiting the local attractions, admiring the surrounding picturesque scenery, interacting with the locals etc. Dinner and an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 15 :
Ooty

After breakfast on day 15, proceed to Ooty (Ootacamund) Golf Course, located at an altitude of 7200 feet. While playing a session of your favorite game, admire the surrounding local scenery. Sprawling in an area of 193 acres of land, this club is 18-hole PAR 70 course with 6235 yards in length. It is advisable that if you are a beginner, play only 9 Holes of the total of 18 holes. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast on day 16, begin driving to Bangalore from Ooty. This journey is going to an unforgettable one because of the local scenery. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel- visit the local markets, explore the popular tourist spots, taste the local renditions etc. Stay Overnight.

Day 17 :
Bangalore

After breakfast, proceed to Bangalore Golf Club, established in 1876. Spread in an area of 60 acres of land, this clubs is PAR 70, 6118-yard, 18-hole golf course with flowering trees in abundance. Beginning with a 12- hole design and little greenery, the club was at last redesigned in 2000, transforming it into a beautiful one. Stay overnight.

In the morning, get transferred to the airport to board a flight to Mumbai. On arrival, move to your hotel. the afternoon is scheduled for sightseeing that may include the Gateway of India, Hanging Gardens, Juhu beach etc. Stay overnight.

Day 19 :
Mumbai

After breakfast on day 19, proceed to Bombay Presidency Golf Club. Founded in 1927, spread in an area of 90 acres of land, it is 18-hole, PAR 70 course, yardge 6223/5463 that was redesigned by Peter Thompson according to the international standards. Although Presidency’s course is neither too long nor too narrow, however, it is not an easy course to break par, with the 5th hole being the most challenging one. The golf club also houses a well-equipped Club House with facilities like swimming pool, restaurants etc. Back to the hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 20 :
Mumbai

The 20th day of the tour is free for leisure activities - explore the nearby surroundings on foot, relish the local renditions like Pao Bhaji, Vada Pav etc. interact with the locals, enjoy fun activities at the well-known beaches. Stay Overnight.

Today is the last day of the tour, get transferred to the airport to board a flight for your onward destination.
