Itinerary

Your Assam Arunachal tour starts from Guwahati with your pick up from Airport/ Railway Station. Meet your tour representative and get assisted with a drive to Bhalukpong. Then, enjoy the scenic ride to the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas.

Day 4 :
Tawang

Start the day with breakfast in the hotel. Later, get ready for the Tawang Sightseeing tour.

You will cover Tawang Monastery and Gaden Namgyal Lhatse during this sightseeing tour and enjoy the spell-bounding views.

In Tawang, next, pay a visit to Urgelling Monastery, famous as the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama and Ani Gompa.

After sightseeing, take a break with a late lunch.

Next, proceed with a visit to the Tawang War Memorial post refreshment. The monument uses Buddhist architectural and cultural elements, including prayer wheels and flags, Buddhist relics, and images.

The evening is free for shopping in the local markets of Tawang. At the significant markets of Old Market, Nehru Market, and Newmarket, you can buy pottery, sweaters, traditional jewelry, prayer wheels, flags, Buddha statues, wall hangings, good luck charms, and other gift items.

After a day of sightseeing, get back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Wake up to the fresh air of the mountains. After breakfast at the hotel, complete your check-out formalities and get on the road. The 5th day of the tour covers a scenic drive from Tawang to Bomdila.

Day 7 :

After breakfast, drive 25 km from the resort towards the river upstream for river rafting this morning. While river rafting on the speedy waters, you also get a chance to see a lot of migratory waterfowl, and if you are lucky, you can even spot the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Elephant on the banks of the river from the boat.

After the high on adrenalin river rafting session, return to the campsite for lunch. After the mouthwatering meal, explore the nature trail along the Nameri National Park. Start the day with breakfast at the hotel, and then you will move towards Aalo (Along) by road.
