Itinerary

On arrival at Guwahati Airport, our tour representative will meet you and help you with an assisted transfer to Bhalukpong. Once you arrive, complete your check-in formalities at the resort and unwind. Later, get ready to visit Tipi Orchidarium. It is home to 2,600 cultivated orchids. After exploring the Tipi Orchidarium, return to the hotel for a sound sleep.

Post breakfast, complete your check-out formalities at the resort, and head towards Dirang. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and relax. The rest of the time is free for leisure. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Today you are going to enjoy the local sightseeing tour of Dirang. First, visit Dirang Dzong, a tribal region located on the banks of the Dirang River. Later, visit the Sangti Valley, where the Indo-China War occurred. Local guides will be happy to take you up to a vantage point if you're interested in treks. Later, pay a visit to Kalachakra Gompa, a 500-year-old monastery in Arunachal Pradesh. Then, enjoy a hot spring and visit the National Research Institute on Yaks and Apple Orchards. Later in the day, explore the local market to shop for souvenirs. Finally, get over the journey fatigue with a refreshing sleep at the hotel in Dirang.

After breakfast, you check-out of the hotel the following day. Today, you will be transferred to Tawang. En route, you will visit Sela Pass and Sela Lake, situated at an altitude of about 13476 ft. Also, visit Jaswant Ghar, and admire the beauty of Nuranang Falls before reaching Tawang. Once you arrive, complete your check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. Spend your evening at leisure. Finally, enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.

Relish a delicious breakfast at the hotel and give a perfect start to your day with a sightseeing tour of Tawang. The tour will take you to some of the most popular attractions in Tawang, including Tawang Monastery and Urgelling Monastery. Wake up early in the morning, and get ready to enjoy the elephant safari from 5.30 AM to 6.30 AM in the western range of the national park. After that, return to the hotel for refreshment and wait for the start of a nearby local village excursion. Visit the local village and feel the charm of the scenic beauty. You can find several tea gardens and orchid sanctuaries. Some famous tea gardens are Methoni, Hathkhuli, Difalu, Borchapori, and Behora. After exploring the village, get back to the hotel for lunch. The day is planned for a road trip to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth. Visit Noh-ka-Likai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Don Bosco Shrine, Wah Kaba Falls, Kynrem Falls, Arwah Cave, and other caves in and around Cherrapunji. After enjoying the tour, return to Shillong. En route, visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. Finally, enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

Post nutritious breakfast, and then you will be transferred to Mawlynnong for a day excursion. The village is well-known for its cleanliness. Visit the famous Jingmaham Living Root Bridge and observe the formation of this bridge by just the tree roots.
