Itinerary

Catch a flight from Delhi Airport to Leh. Meet our tour representative, who will help you with an assisted transfer to your hotel. Complete the check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Leh city is one of India's most popular tourist destinations. Before moving to Ladakh, it is mandatory to acclimatize for 48 hours in Leh due to the high pressure of the high altitude.

Overnight stay in Leh.

On the 2nd day of the Ladakh trip, drive west of Leh to visit Alchi Monastery. On the way, drive the Magnetic Hill, one of the wonders of the Himalayas. Afterward, stop to click some pictures at the confluence of Rivers Zanskar and Indus in Nimu. Continue to the monastery. On your way back to the hotel, visit the Military Hall of Fame, a museum constructed and maintained by the Army in the memory of the war heroes.

Overnight stay in Leh.

Start your day early and get transferred to Nubra Valley by road. First, drive past Khardung La Pass, touted as the world's highest motorable road, at 18,360 feet. The afternoon is scheduled for a visit to Hundur and Diskit monasteries, located at a small distance from each other. Both are famous Buddhist monasteries of Nubra. Next, visit the white dunes where you will partake in Camel Safari on double-humped camels, found only in Nubra.

Back to the hotel/camp in Leh for an overnight stay.

On this 4th day of your Ladakh tour, start your day with a tasty breakfast. Afterward, you will visit Samstanling Monastery, known for its serene ambiance and assembly halls with artifacts. Once you explore this monastery, you will return to Leh via Khardung La. The evening is scheduled for exploring the local markets of Leh, where you can get your hands on some fantastic stuff such as wood carvings, Pashmina shawls, Masks, pearls, handicrafts, and more.

This 5th day of the Ladakh tour is scheduled for an excursion to Pangong Lake. Drive past Chang La, the high mountain pass at 17,688 feet. Continue towards the lake, crossing Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region. By afternoon, you will arrive at the banks of the lake where you will set the tents.

Also known as Pangong Tso, Pangong Lake is breathtaking. Treat your eyes to the fantastic views of the surrounding area. Also, visit the nearby local village to gain an insight into the local culture of Leh Ladakh.

Start day 6th of the Ladakh tour package a little early to capture early morning views around the lake. Later, have breakfast and begin driving back to Leh. On the way, you can halt at the richest and the largest monastery of Ladakh, Hemis Monastery. Afternoon arrival in Leh, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Later, you can indulge in shopping for souvenirs for your loved ones back home.
