Many events have taken place in his life, and thus, people visit here to pay their respects. Arrive in Rajkot by evening.

In the morning, drive to Somnath. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, pay a visit to the Somnath Temple, which has a large, black Shiva lingam at its heart. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The architecture of Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple is noteworthy. The temple’s origin can be traced back to 649 BC but it is said to be older than that. The temple you see today was rebuilt in 1951.
