Itinerary
As you arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, meet our tour representative, who will help you with an assisted transfer to Gangtok. On reaching Gangtok, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Later, relax for some time to give your body a proper rest. After that, the evening is at leisure. Next, you can stroll on Mall Road or shop at famous shopping centers. Finally, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Gangtok.
Have breakfast on the 2nd day of your Sikkim Darjeeling tour and explore the city. Today, you can visit Gangtok's popular tourist attractions, including the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, and Flower Show. After exploring all these tourist attractions, you will

After breakfast, leave for a day's trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.
Around 38 km away, Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), or Changu Lake, is a glacial lake that receives its waters from the snow-covered mountains encircling it. As it is an important tourist attraction, you can find some shops selling knick-knacks and Yak cheese. You can also opt for yak rides to explore the breathtaking scenery. So admire the scenic views and visit Lord Shiva Temple on the banks of the Lake.
Afterward, head towards Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial War Temple, around 20 km from here. The temple lies near Jelep Pass at an elevation of 13,000 feet. This shrine is dedicated to a soldier Harbhajan Singh of the 23rd Punjab Regiment, who sacrificed his life in Indo-China in 1962. A small wishing pond is nearby where you can throw a coin to make a wish. You can also visit Nathula Pass, located 20 km from the Republic of China. The visit to Nathula Pass is optional. If time permits, you can visit Mall Road in the evening. After that, you will get back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Gangtok.
Note: Nathula Pass (Closed on Monday & Tuesday) is optional and can be done on a direct payment basis (INR 5,500 -7,500)
On the 4th day of your Sikkim tour package, have a morning meal, and move towards the north Sikkim region. Check-out from Gangtok at around 10:00 AM and begin driving for Lachung. On the way, halt at a few beautiful places such as Tashi Viewpoint - for mesmerizing landscape views, Kabi Lungstok - a famous historical town with a Buddhist monastery, and Naga Waterfalls - click some photographs this fall. Later, continue to Chungthang to visit the meeting point of Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu and finally at the Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls for some memorable moments. Finally, savor lunch at Namok (at your own cost). Evening arrival at Lachung. Complete the check-in formalities at one of the listed hotels. Then, relax for a while and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Post breakfast on the 5th day of your Sikkim Gangtok Darjeeling tour, and get all set for a day's trip to the beautiful Yumthang Valley, lying 11,800 feet above sea level. En route, you come across a famous hot spring known for having water with medicinal properties, which can cure skin diseases. Later, continue to Yumthang. Popularly known as the 'Valley of Flowers. During winters, the valley is covered with a sheet of white snow. So enjoy the fantastic weather and treat your eyes to the beautiful views.
In the afternoon, back to Gangtok, located at 128 km, will take almost 6 hours to reach. Check-in at your pre-booked hotel upon your arrival and take a rest. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

On the 6th day of the Sikkim Darjeeling holiday, you will start your journey from Gangtok to Darjeeling after having a sumptuous breakfast. On reaching Darjeeling, complete the check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Relax for some time. Later on, the evening is at leisure. You can stroll at Mall Road or shop at famous shopping centers. Return to the hotel in the evening and have a delicious dinner. Later, you will slide into your bed for a peaceful overnight stay in Darjeeling.
On the 7th day of the Darjeeling tour, get up early for a short trip to Tiger Hill to enjoy a fantastic sunrise view. Then, on your way back, visit the other attractions, including Ghoom Monastery, the War Memorial, and Batasia Loop. Later, we went back to the hotel for breakfast. Post breakfast, continue with sightseeing, including Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed) and Peace Pagoda.
